About the Job
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Door Manufacturing Team Member to join our production team at Abel Door & Trim located at 235 FM 371 in Gainesville, TX. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves operating saws and pneumatic tools, reading tape measures, performing basic math, communicating well and working effectively with others to complete daily tasks.

- Operate saws and other cutting equipment safely and accurately.
- Read and interpret tape measures and production instructions.
- Perform basic math to ensure accurate measurements and cuts.
- Use pneumatic and battery-powered tools for assembly and fabrication.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently with attention to quality and detail.
- Assist with material handling and other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is a plus.
- Comfortable using power tools and shop equipment.
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16".
- Basic math skills required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality.
Work Environment:
- This role operates in a production & manufacturing door shop where the noise levels can be moderate, and the work involves physical labor.
