We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Door Manufacturing Team Member to join our production team at Abel Door & Trim located at 235 FM 371 in Gainesville, TX. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves operating saws and pneumatic tools, reading tape measures, performing basic math, communicating well and working effectively with others to complete daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate saws and other cutting equipment safely and accurately.
Read and interpret tape measures and production instructions.
Perform basic math to ensure accurate measurements and cuts.
Use pneumatic and battery-powered tools for assembly and fabrication.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Work as part of a team to meet production goals and deadlines.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently with attention to quality and detail.
Assist with material handling and other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is a plus.
Comfortable using power tools and shop equipment.
Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16\".
Basic math skills required.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality.

Work Environment:

This role operates in a production & manufacturing door shop where the noise levels can be moderate, and the work involves physical labor.
